AV STAFFING SERVICES & TECHNICAL OPERATORS
Our audio visual staffing focuses on technical roles rather than general event labor. AV technicians and equipment operators support the preparation, setup and operation of specified production systems in coordination with your technical director, AV provider or venue team.
AUDIO TECHNICIANS
Technicians to assist with approved audio system setup, cabling, testing and show operation according to the production brief and the responsibilities assigned to each crew member.
VIDEO & DISPLAY SUPPORT
Video crew for camera, projection, LED display and signal-flow support where appropriate skills and specific equipment experience are confirmed for the booking.
LIGHTING TECHNICIANS
Lighting personnel for fixture preparation, cable runs, focus assistance and show support under the direction of the lighting designer or technical lead. Electrical and rigging work is assessed separately.
EQUIPMENT OPERATORS
Qualified or equipment-experienced operators for specified production and material-handling equipment. Share the equipment model, duties and any applicable licensing or certification requirements before booking.
Specialist work — including overhead rigging, electrical installation, work at height, lifting operations and use of regulated plant — must be identified separately. Operators are only assigned to tasks for which suitable training, experience and any required credentials can be assessed. General event labor and standard stagehand services are separate offerings. For nontechnical load-in and venue setup, see our Event Labor Services.
EVENT AV TECHNICIANS FOR LIVE PRODUCTIONS
From multi-room conferences to concerts and corporate presentations, event AV technicians work with different equipment, show schedules and production teams. Technical crew requirements depend on the system design, venue and run of show.
Show Support USA works with event organizers, production companies, AV suppliers and venue teams to review the technical positions needed across load-in, rehearsals, show calls and load-out.
Tell us which roles you need—audio, video, lighting or equipment operation—along with your equipment list, required experience, call times and on-site technical contacts. That helps us assess suitable personnel without treating every AV task as interchangeable.

AV STAFFING SERVICES FAQ
What can AV technicians help with?
Depending on their role and experience, AV technicians may support audio systems, video displays, lighting equipment, cabling, technical checks, rehearsals and show operations. Please specify the equipment and responsibilities when enquiring.
Can I hire an AV technician for a single show call?
Yes. You can enquire about one shift, rehearsals, multi-day conferences, full productions or load-in and load-out calls, subject to suitable crew availability.
Are equipment operators included with general event labor?
No. Equipment operation may require specialist experience, training, tickets or licenses, depending on the machine and task. We assess equipment operator requests separately from general event labor and stagehand assignments.
Can you supply riggers or licensed electrical workers?
Specialist rigging, electrical work, work at height and regulated equipment operation are not automatically included with standard AV staffing. Tell us the exact requirements so the necessary qualifications and availability can be assessed separately.
What information should I send for an AV crew quote?
Send your venue, dates, call times, required roles, equipment list or system details, crew numbers and any mandatory certification or site-induction requirements.
NEED AV STAFFING FOR YOUR NEXT EVENT?
Tell us your event location, schedule, technical departments, equipment models, crew numbers and required qualifications. Our operations team can review AV staffing services and suitable technician or equipment operator options for your production.
