Dear SHS Clients and Crew,
On behalf of Show Support Operations, Logistics and Supplies, State Operations Managers, Field Managers and Crew Chiefs, I take this opportunity to praise the efforts of our top Showies, whose continual dedication, skills and efforts come to the aid of our clients time after gig-saving time.
On call 24/7, Showies are an integral part of many productions and an essential component of the Entertainment Industry.
Trained to work with pride, we salute each of them for the hundreds of LED screens built and P.A. stacks flown, thousands of LX fixtures rigged, hundreds of metres of drape-lines raised, hundreds of stages set, kilometres of cables rolled, thousands of trucks and vans loaded in as many loading docks around the country by our beloved SHS Crews whose ranks spearhead the charge on multitudinous successful productions.
In the past year we focused on quality and training, plus implementation of new procedures, which enabled us to better address the needs of our much-appreciated clientele. The appointment of Max Dessmann as State Operations Manager in Victoria improved the size and reputation of our Melbourne branch, with a ‘back to basics’ Show Support approach for crew onsite and a steadfast commitment to customer service.
Max’s performance has cemented his SHS Immortal status and we look forward to another great year in Victoria; as in other states, ably managed by Stephen Voigt in QLD, Adrian Lindh in WA and Tim Upward in South Australia.
As we close the lid and secure the latches on 2017, we already look ahead to 2018 and beyond.
Our new service Show Support Platinum will be launched, enabling our clients to access the best techs in the industry.
Additionally, new apps just over the horizon will give our clients a massive edge when booking and monitoring jobs, checking onsite inductions, messaging crew and approving their times, all verified by GPS and the latest innovations in mobile technology.
2018 promises to be an exciting year for Show Support and all of our fantastic clients!
Regards,
David Neil
